Who are we?
Sportsman's Paradise is a Property Owners' Association established in May of 1979. We are located in East Texas and situated on scenic Lake Palestine. It is a small community comprised of both permanent and vacation homes located near the wonderful city of Chandler.
What is there to do here?
There's so much to see and explore here. You could take a quiet, meditative morning or early evening walk to the lake from anywhere in Sportsman's Paradise. Enjoy great fishing from our newly constructed pier, and it's wheelchair accessible! Launch your boat from our private boat ramp and be the captain while touring the lake or fishing for perch, bass, crappie and catfish!
What do we do here?
Here in Sportsman's Paradise, we are trying to preserve the community environment. Slowly, but surely the POA is endeavoring to make improvements to the roads and amenities. .
What can you do to help our community?
Be a good neighbor, maintain your homes and property in a neat and orderly fashion, participate in community activities such as fundraisers, community events, clean up days, etc., as well as staying current on your annual dues.
Is there anything I should know before purchasing property here?
